The original oath of office, before April 1861, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

The Declaratory Act of 1766 – The Stamp Act Congress, Sons of Liberty and similar groups outright denied the right of England to tax the colonies without representation. Recall that when the act was read before parliament, the reading of the petitions of Virginia and other colonies was denied. Moreover, the colonies did not independently have a representative in either house of parliament. The opposition to the Stamp Act was fierce, and it was repealed. However, it was replaced by the Declaratory Act. This purpose of this act was to enforce the laws of England upon the colonies, and those laws specific to the colonies. This purpose was defined by two parts: 1) for "…better securing the dependency of his majesty's dominions in America upon the crown and parliament of Great Britain."; and 2) to deny the colonies any authority to self-govern, enact laws, or oppose any laws of England imposed upon them.

The emotional civil war in America today has a root cause of ideological warfare - Capitalism vs. Capitolism (Government of the People, by the People, for the People vs. Government of the People, by the government, for the government). We can't have it both ways.
*****
Our Constitution provides for a checks and balances between the three branches - and the president is not part of the legislative branch. When Congress gets the balls to tell him he's not a dictator, and when one party reminds the other that he is not their boss, there will be progress.
The way this has been running reminds me of the failed Articles of Confederation - one central government, no checks and balances.

One of the issues of healthcare is that it costs taxpayers for every person that goes to the ER. It is NOT necessary for every sniffle or non-threatening injury to be at the ER. However, taxpayers funds will only pay for ER visits, not visits to Urgent Care (which may be, quite literally, the same bed classified differently). This would save thousands per person per visit. Nationalized anything doesn't solve that applicable problem. The important thing in finding some of these solutions is that it is not the government funds, payments, subsidies or programs - replace 'government' with 'taxpayer' - perhaps the sheeple will begin to understand the limits of entitlement programs. Nah, that would require non-emotional thought processes.

To limit, censor or ban free speech is to control the individual or collective. It is to make people both ignorant and enslaved. Speech, and the free exercise thereof, has been documented as a right – in some evolving form – since the Magna Carta and finds its strongest argument in the greatest assertion of free speech – our Declaration of Independence. In fact, the crown of England scoffed at our Declaration of Independence with the notion that the colonies had no right to make such grievances or demands. Hence, the royal proclamation that colonies were in open revolt. When looking at the Constitutional unalienable birthright of free speech - and each of our Bill of Rights, look no further than our Declaration of Independence. That document is the foundation for each of them.
*****
I support each of the unalienable birthrights enumerated in our Bill of Rights and granted unto us at birth. They are not granted by our government (which is each of us collectively) and cannot be revoked by our government (again - us). They are interwoven - one cannot stand without the other. If you are willing to give up one - or see another denied theirs - you give up all for everyone.

"...it is pretty clear in reviewing our history and documents that none of the fifty states can encroach upon our Bill of Rights. The Constitution provides that these rights are to protect us from the government and our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness other. Moreover, the Constitution also provides that those rights not enumerated in the Bill of Rights are reserved to the states, and those not of the state are to the people. Because we are a government of the people, by the people and for the people – these rights and ours, as individuals, to exercise and protect. Because the rights are enumerated in the Constitution, the states have no authority to amend, encroach upon or revoke. I would submit, that any state or local government that provides for any of the enumerated rights in a different form, is violating the Constitutional rights of its citizens. The Bill of Rights are irrevocable because of the unalienable natural rights defined in the Declaration of Independence – of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."

George Washington - Having faced multiple losses, and a few minor successful skirmishes, a dreadful winter with low troop morale, Washington and his troops had been routed out of New Jersey and across the Delaware River to Pennsylvania. On Christmas of 1776, when the English troops were confident that the colonists were beaten into complacency, Washington led his troops back across the Delaware River and routed out the English. This battle would boost morale and change the present course of the war. Washington was a keen observer and learned to integrate the military and political aspects of the war – a necessity to keeping up troop morale. He also committed the colonial army to seizing every major colonial city, something he felt was imperative – the loss of major cities would reduce support of the colonists.

"In my no-law-degree opinion, it is pretty clear in reviewing our history and documents, that none of the fifty states can encroach upon our Bill of Rights. The Constitution provides that these rights are to protect us from the government and our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Moreover, the Constitution also provides that those rights not enumerated in the Bill of Rights are reserved to the states, and those not of the state are to the people. I would submit, that any state or local government that provides for any of the enumerated rights in a different form, is violating the Constitutional rights of its citizens. The Bill of Rights are irrevocable because of the sacred and unalienable natural rights defined in the Declaration of Independence – of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Finally, although they were later enacted – they were a condition of the ratification of the Constitution by the states. Therefore, our Founding Fathers and Framers did not intend for the Bill of Rights to be later infringed upon, repealed or restricted. I submit that it is unconstitutional for any government to amend, revoke, suspend, challenge or change any amendment to the Bill of Rights without a Constitutional Convention."

Insanity is electing the same politicized personal agendas over and over again. Every two years the whole of the House of Representatives are up for re-election; every two years 1/3 of the Senate (unlimited terms); and every four years the president (two terms). So, what's the problem? We keep electing and re-electing agenda-driven morons. Use your right to vote. Make it simple - up or down vote - has the incumbent done the job you expected. No other questions or thought processes are needed.
*****
Patriot - someone who, regardless of beliefs or opinion, places the welfare of the collective above their own.
Emotional Hag - polar opposite.

"This disparity of political ideologies translates to economic ideologies – in part, because they have become melded together. In Congress, if economic legislation is introduced, the polarity becomes easily apparent – and it is often asked why can the two not come together? Again, because one component of Congress is just right of center (R2 – Fiscal) and the other is just left of center (L2 – Entitlement), you have the same ideological disparity. There is only one possible way to fix that – elect Fiscal party candidates."

"The concept of Tunnel Intelligence is limiting access to knowledge due to an agenda or ideology, which prevent a person from seeing beyond the underlying biases these traits present. Ideologies can also be morals, culture, religion, etc. It is not necessarily negative, but the results can be so. It is forming an opinion without being informed and is usually associated with emotional reaction or an agenda; or both. It is an extremely narrow point of view, a focus on one agenda to the exclusion of all others and loss of peripheral thought process due to insufficient information."

After the Battle of Lexington and Concord, Washington presented himself to the Second Continental Congress in full uniform and announced he was prepared for war. For a man of Washington's position and stature – personally, politically and militarily – and from his original position while a state representative in Virginia's House of Burgesses, this was significant to the Second Continental Congress.

By some estimates, healthcare and all its contemporaries and subsidiaries, account for the world’s third largest economy. The confiscation of the healthcare system was gradual, beginning with the creation of ‘health maintenance organizations’ – private insurance companies that changed how they do business with the consumer and healthcare providers. Not only is healthcare one of the largest economies in the world, it will also be the world’s largest unearned ‘entitlement program’ of the Parasitic Cult. Remember these things about the government and the economy:
-- The government is a non-profit;
-- Economies cannot be sustained as a non-profit;
-- A non-profit economy is a socialist economy; and
-- A socialist economy is economic suicide.

Zero Tolerance Indoctrination is a path and plan to dismantling our Constitution and fomenting the most significant zero tolerance society - communism. Stifled, trapped, scared, isolated...we are allowing the schools - government - to abuse our children. Is that the country you want? Every school district and employee that enforces Zero Tolerance Indoctrination should be charged with abuse and held accountable by the families.
